‘Daddy’ meme coin will now be accepted for travel bookings on Travala

The social influencer announced on Tuesday that customers may now use Andrew Tate’s meme coin, Daddy, to pay for bookings for hotels, flights, and cars made through the online travel company Travala.

Tate made an announcement on X: “to prepare for the Daddy World Tour, you can now book car rentals, flights, and hotels directly with Daddy on Travala.” Tate, 37, claimed in a recent social media video that he intends to ‘travel the world’ once he is released from house arrest.

Daddy Token drops by almost 10%

Based on Binance’s BNB Savvy Chain, Travala is a booking stage that empowers direct connections and commission-free exchanges. On its website, Travala claims to provide booking services for over 2 million hotels worldwide.

Tate’s DADDY token is now part of the wide range of cryptocurrencies that Travala accepts for bookings. With the explanation, “Something colossal and energizing is on the skyline for $DADDY! the agency signaled its agreement with Tate on X. Keep an eye out and pay attention. Following this, the controversial influencer verified the collaboration.

According to CoinGecko data, the price of Daddy decreased 8% to $0.1453 following the revelation, with a 24-hour trading volume of $14.6 million. The token, which started live on June 9, is down over 48% from its all-time high of $0.2849 on June 28. Daddy’s total market capitalization plummeted to $91.9 million.

Tate actively issued and approved his Daddy tokens, whereas previously, celebrities only supported the project. In the meme coin subculture, celebrity tokenization is a recent trend. Rapper Easy Azalea, American media personality Caitlyn Jenner, Nigerian artist Davido, and many other celebrities issued their own meme currencies on Solana and advertised them on X in May.

The Court releases Andrew Tate from house arrest

Tate, a formerly renowned kickboxer, and his brother were detained in Bucharest in December 2022 on suspicion of rape, sexual abuse, and human trafficking. The pair, detained along with two local women, faces formal charges in June 2023 but has refuted the accusations.

The tribunal ruled on July 5 that the controversial 37-year-old was free to leave Romania but not to leave the European Union, the Associated Press said.

“I am free,” Tate wrote in capital letters across an X after the verdict. “I can travel outside Romania for the first time in three years.” “The false case is being exposed.”
